Two separate incidents kept police in Luxembourg City busy over the weekend.

According to police reports, a watch was stolen in a parking garage on Avenue Monterey on Saturday. The thief reportedly assisted the victim up the stairs and, during the encounter, managed to remove the victim’s watch without being noticed. Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident.

Elsewhere in the city, a suspected drug dealer was apprehended the same day in Rue de la Fonderie. Police had stopped two men acting suspiciously. Following a brief foot chase, one of the individuals admitted to having swallowed several pellets of cocaine. He was taken to the hospital, where scans confirmed the presence of foreign objects in his body.

The suspect was detained on orders from the public prosecutor and appeared before an investigating judge on Sunday morning.
