Chris Hughes is as famous for his love life as he is for appearing on reality TV shows.
After leaving Love Island in 2017 alongside his then girlfriend Olivia Attwood, Celebrity Big Brother housemate Chris went on to strike up a very public relationship with Little Mix star Jesy Nelson.
Back in 2019, the singer and the reality star proved to be one of the hottest celebrity power couples of their time, after first dazzling fans with their union which began with a cheeky kiss in a kebab shop.
After weeks of the rumour mill being sent into overdrive, in June of the same year, Jesy and Chris finally confirmed they were an item, with the pair taking to instagram with a loved up post during a romantic trip to Ireland.
However, soon after the post landed, the pair actually parted ways but soon got things back on track, rekindling their romance and delighting fans with many loved-up displays of affection.
It looked as though their blossoming relationship was heading in all the right directions, with the pair even sparking engagement rumours just months after going public.
Jesy referred to Chris - who is currently part of the line-up for the 2025 series of ITV reality show CBB - as her "future husband" in a gushy social media post, sending fans wild over the prospect of marriage. And he championed his girlfriend through an incredibly difficult period in her personal life, during the launch of her acclaimed BBC documentary Odd One Out.
The documentary followed the troubled songstress who had been constantly trolled about her appearance since she found fame on Simon Cowell's talent show The X Factor, in 2011.
But despite many lavish getaways, declarations of love and an abundance of support, the famous couple hit a rough patch after Chris reportedly got into an altercation with a photographer at the National Television Awards in 2020.
A few months later a spokesperson for Jesy confirmed that Chris and the hitmaker were no longer together. A source told The Sun: "Jesy and Chris split up a couple of weeks ago. It was all very amicable and they're still really good friends. Jesy rang Chris and led the conversation about their relationship and both agreed that it felt like it had run its course - they're both absolutely fine."
Although Chris and Jesy are said to still be friends, having parted ways amicably, at first the Love Island star admitted he had struggled to come to terms with the fact it was all over.
A year after their split he confessed to The Sun on Sunday: "It was a tough period in a lot of people's personal lives and it was for me too, as breakups are never easy. It was difficult. Sometimes you just grow apart.
"There have definitely been days when I wake up and things haven't felt great. The period 12 months ago was really tough.There were days where I was waking up and our split was the first thing I was thinking about."
He added: "I was thinking, 'I hope I feel good today. I hope mentally I feel all right'. I had to try my hardest mentally to break the cycle."
Jesy and Chris parted ways in lockdown, a time when dating was tricky for any singleton. Chris confirmed to the same publication that his dating life was a "s**tstorm," because he preferred to have face-to-face interactions with prospective partners.
In August 2021, Chris confirmed he had moved on with professional golfer Annabel Dimmock, with the TV star insisting that he'd "never felt this way," before.
In an interview with The Sun a few months after the'd confirmed their romance, Chris said: "I met her [Annabel] on the golf course, spent a lot of time together and yes, it was lovely. We get on well with each other.
"Obviously, I've met loads of girls over the last however long and you talk to people but I've never got that buzz with anyone, since my last relationship."
Annabel is devoted to her career as an athlete, having competed in the likes of Ladies European Tour, the French Lalla Meryem Cup and the 2019 Evian Championship.
Sadly, after a year of dating the couple decided to call it quits and Chris confirmed to The Sun, that he was once again "struggling" with another break up.
He said: "I always struggle a bit when it's fresh out of a relationship because everything feels different. But I'm in the gym, I'm keeping myself busy with work.
"I'm all over the shop. I've got good friends and family around me which is a blessing as well, so I feel good." Chris is thought to have remained single since his split from Annabel.
