Delhi Women and Child Development Minister Atishi laid the foundation stone of Vatsalya Sadan a child protection centre in Alipur in North Delhi. The Vatsalya Sadan will be constructed on 11 acres of land.
“Every facility will be available in this ‘Vatsalya Sadan’ being built for children affected by crime and legal conflict, which will help children to emerge from the difficulties of their life,” Atishi said.
The Vatsalya Sadan will be equipped with facilities like Observation Home; Legal Aid Clinic; Counselling; Library; Mental Health Unit and Indoor& Outdoor Sports Facilities.
