Pop-up legal clinics on Oʻahu and Kauaʻi this weekend

To celebrate National Law Week, the Hawaii State Bar Association is offering free, in-person “Ask a Lawyer” clinics on Oʻahu and Kauaʻi this weekend.

Volunteer attorneys from the bar’s Young Lawyers Division will be available to give legal information to the public on a variety of topics, including landlord-tenant issues, divorce and custody, and bankruptcy.

Pop-up legal clinics:

  • Maui Sunday Market
    • Sunday, May 21: 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Kakaʻako Farmers' Market
    • Saturday, May 27: 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • Grove Farm Market
    • Saturday, May 27: 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
  • Kailua Farmers' Market
    • Sunday, May 28: 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

During Law Week, volunteer attorneys will also be answering calls for one hour a day to give free legal information. HSBA’s Legal Lines can be reached at (808)537-1868 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. from May 22 to 26.
